Born in Sweden, Paul Brissman has gained a reputation for the unique brand of humanity, ease, and clarity expressed in his images. His work ranges from critically acclaimed photo essays and portraits to travel photography and commissioned features for food, lifestyle and interior design magazines.

Based in New York, his client list and published work include: Sony Music Books, Chandelier Creative, Coming Home Studios, Illy Caffe, Face Stockholm, GM, Kiehl's Since 1851, Random House, Merideith Corporation, Regal Ware, Rodale, Swedbank, The Blues Inc., Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and He collaborated with Marcus Samuelsson on The New American Table (Wiley 2009) for which he was nominated for the 2010 James Beard Award, best photography.
